Roger J. Saunders is his Parents given name. He performed under the stage name J-Mafia for years until he decided to changed his stage name to J. Ross in 2017. Ever since a young age, he has found great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process. He hails from a small town in Central Virginia named Louisa County. He graduated Louisa County High School in 2007 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2009. While on his first deployment in 2011, he started his own Independent Record Label entitled "Capital Music Group" and started networking to gain more clientele and a solid fanbase. In 2017 he separated honorably from the United States Marine Corps and took the next step towards pursuing his career in the music industry by attending Full Sail University and obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production. While attending Full Sail University he has worked with various audio workstations while honing his skills in mixing techniques and audio post production. Take a look around the site to get to know more about him.
